At The Practical Mumma, we want your order to arrive quickly and safely. This Shipping Policy outlines how we process, ship, and deliver orders across Australia.

🚚 Processing Times

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
  • During peak periods, new product launches, or sales events, processing times may be extended.
  • Once your order has been packed and dispatched, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.

💰 Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and vary depending on weight, destination, and delivery method.
We offer:

  • Free standard shipping on orders over $150 AUD (after discounts and before shipping).
  • Flat-rate shipping on smaller orders — displayed at checkout before payment.

🏠 Local Pickup (if applicable)

  • If you’re local to the Illawarra region (NSW 2500 area), you can select free local pickup at checkout.
  • You’ll receive an email when your order is ready for collection, usually within 24–48 hours.

⏰ Delivery Delays

We do our best to ensure your order arrives on time. However, The Practical Mumma is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier or postal delays
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer

  • Natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen events

If your order is significantly delayed, please contact us at steph@practicalmumma.com.au and we’ll assist in tracking it down.

📦 Lost or Missing Parcels

If your tracking number shows as “delivered” but you haven’t received your order:

  1. Please check with neighbours or household members first.

  2. Contact the courier or Australia Post directly with your tracking number.

  3. If still unresolved after 5 business days, contact us at steph@practicalmumma.com.au so we can open an investigation.

We’ll always do our best to help you locate your parcel. However, The Practical Mumma cannot be held responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.

We are working towards offering international shipping soon!
For now, we only deliver within Australia. Please subscribe to our newsletter for updates when worldwide shipping becomes available.
